Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
I noticed that you added an option to bulk-delete directories via dired: One can
now select several directories and instead of answering "yes" when asked whether
it should be deleted regarding every single one individually, answer "all" and
be done.
However, copying several directories is still as painful as deleting used to be.
Can you please add the same option to the copying operation?
PS: If there is a better way to ask for an improvement / a feature than writing
to the bug reports mailing list, please let me know.

I agree this change would make sense, although see also Bug#31782 which
would then apply to this too.

The best way to ask for a feature is to send a patch implementing it ;)
(but yes, the bug list is the right place to send feature requests to)

Yes, these operations should behave in the same way. Having them behave in
different ways unnecessarily complicates things. Both from the users'
perspective and from the devs's perspective. Unfortunately, Bug#31782 only seems
to be about deletion.

Thanks! :) I'll do that once I feel confident enough of my Elisp skills. ;)
Merged 31861 32705.
