Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
Can you please restore C-g.
It is the way we are all used to interrupting things.
R runs the command dired-do-rename.
When asked the question
Overwrite `/tmp/dd'? [Type yn!q or C-h]
you don't allow us to type C-g anymore.
You force us to type q instead.
Why can't you just map C-g to q in this case?
Yes you can still have your q and we could still have our C-g.

When asked the question
Overwrite `/tmp/dd'? [Type yn!q or C-h]
you don't allow us to type C-g anymore.
Was that an intentional change?

Message #13 received at 9001 <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
read-char-choice does not allow quitting, even if the optional
INHIBIT-KEYBOARD-QUIT is nil. It also does not respect `help-form'.
Both these things make dired-query less functional than it was.
