I'm downgrading emacs-snapshot from 1:20110519-1 to 1:20110512-1.
Because even
   C-e runs the command move-end-of-line
will cause
   Fatal error (11)Segmentation fault
$ emacs -nw -Q /tmp
^E

I confirm, I got the same problem in ERC.
