Subject: diffutils-3.11: realloc(): invalid next size
Date: Tue, 25 Mar 2025 22:30:50 +0000 (UTC)
Howdy,

This system is a Fedora 42 x86_64 version.

I have run diffutils-3.10/src/sdiff with NO problems. With diffutils-3.11/src/sdiff I get the following:

/tools/diffutils/diffutils-3.11/src# ./sdiff -w 111 mkc mkconfig
realloc(): invalid next size
Aborted                    (core dumped) ./sdiff -w 111 mkc mkconfig

Am I doing something wrong?

Best regards,

George...

Thanks for the report. This was fixed via
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/diffutils.git/commit/?id=v3.11-7-ge9f8e6a
for <https://bugs.gnu.org/76613>, so I'm merging your report into that
one.
