In emacs, at random times, the toolbar will get input focus (or something like that) Basically, at that point, the only thing that the keyboard can do is the arrow keys allow different toolbar buttons to be highlighted. The mouse is unresponsive. The only way I have found to get out of this semi-locked up mode is to click the mouse on the menubar. Then emacs becomes responsive to keyboard input again. I have not found a reliable way to replicate this, but it occurs about 2 times an hour when I am programming and have multiple Emacs frames open. Thank you. --text follows this line-- This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation, not to your local site managers! Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers usually do not have translators to read other languages for them. Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs <at> gnu.org mailing list, and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group. Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug. If you can, give a recipe starting from `emacs -Q': If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger, please include the output from the following gdb commands: `bt full' and `xbacktrace'. For information about debugging Emacs, please read the file /usr/share/emacs/23.2/etc/DEBUG.
