I recompiled with -g, repeated the crash, and found the line in question -- process.c:1767

  return unbind_to (count, proc);

The most recent commit I have in my local copy of the source tree is:

Oct 10, larsi <at> gnus.org, "Fix gnutls write-before-negotiation case."

Attached is the new fully cross-referenced crash log.
