many thanks for providing and installing this change.

@Paul: Do you have a copyright assignment to FSF in place?  I can't
check that right now, but if not, you're getting close to the threshold
where we'll need one if you want to contribute more code to AUCTeX.

@Keita: We loosely try to follow the guidelines of Emacs which says[1]:

  - Commit messages should not contain the "Signed-off-by:" lines that
    are used in some other projects.

But no hassle, we try loosely :-)
