Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs <at> gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Today I got this error message from ERC:
error in process filter: setq: Buffer name `username_biaw' is in use
error in process filter: Buffer name `username_biaw' is in use
(I substituted 'username' for the real username.)
I think I had a private chat with 'username', then he renamed himself to
'username_biaw', then later rejoined as 'username' (I had buffers with
both names), then renamed again to 'username_biaw'. However, I'm not
completely certain that this is what caused the error.
If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
`bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
/usr/share/emacs/23.1/etc/DEBUG for instructions.
