Hi,

I just stumbled upon `ucs-normalize-string' 

(defmacro ucs-normalize-string (ucs-normalize-region)
  `(with-temp-buffer
     (insert str)
     (,ucs-normalize-region (point-min) (point-max))
     (buffer-string)))

It apparently uses undefined variable `str', which does not look right.
Also, no docstring.
