Hi,

the first call in my .emacs is

(set-fontset-font
 "fontset-startup"
 'latin-iso8859-15
 "-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-20-200-75-75-c-100-iso10646-1")

and that fails now with the newest CVS emacs:
