Basically I am asking for GNU Emacs to be enhanced into a full applications development system, for implementation on all platforms - Unix, Linux, MacOS and Windows.

I think we have enough trouble making Emacs into a text editor for all
platforms.  Let's not set the feature creep to infinity all at once.
