Subject: 28.0.50; fido-mode vs rgrep: wildcard completion
Date: Mon, 3 Feb 2020 11:58:26 +0100
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Steps to reproduce:

- M-x fido-mode

- M-x rgrep

- Search for: foobar

- Search for "foobar" in files matching wildcard: try and enter "*.nomatch"

Expected behavior:

- I should be able to enter this wildcard pattern somehow

Actual behavior:

- It shows "No matches", trying to press "C-j" results in "Incomplete".
C-M-i has no effect either.

When using fido-mode, how do you get past this rgrep input stage?

I think this is the same as bug#38992 (and they should be merged, note
for our Debbugs pros here).

Please see the comments in there, too.
