After compiling emacs with --with-ns and launching Emacs.app, emacs

However, after relauching emacs, everything works finee.

Windowing system distributor `Apple', version 10.3.949

[Message part 3 (message/rfc822, inline)]
This report refers to what is now an old pretest of Emacs 23.1, and
with the information provided we cannot do anything. One comment: you
must run `make install' to be able to use Emacs.app.
If you still see the problem in the latest release, 23.3, please reply
to this message with more details and we can reopen this report if
needed. You should compile emacs without optimization, and run it under
gdb to get a backtrace.
