Subject: bug#21632: no way to comment out lines in gnus-server-edit-server
Date: Tue, 06 Oct 2015 14:02:30 +0800
User uses
e runs the command gnus-server-edit-server, which is an interactive
  compiled Lisp function in `gnus-srvr.el'.

  It is bound to e, <menu-bar> <Server> <Edit>.

  (gnus-server-edit-server SERVER)

Edit the server on the current line.

User puts a ";" in front of
(nttp ...)
making
;(nttp ...)

User saves with C-c C-c.

User tries the command again, only to find the ";" is gone.

Thus he is back to:
;;; Editing the server.
;; Type `C-c C-c' after you've finished editing.

(nntp "news.datemas.de")

I.e., his attempt to comment out a server is thwarted.
