On (info "(gnus) Unavailable Servers") there is no indication about
which commands only affect this session, and which commands will be
remembered between sessions.

Indeed, it seems the states mentioned here don't even persist through
the next issue of gnus-group-get-new-news.

GNU Emacs 24.5.1 (i586-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.16.6)
 of 2015-09-21 on binet, modified by Debian

I don't think any of them do, or imply that they do?  So I don't see any
need for any change here.
