Bug 11304 is reproducible on 24.2.1, despite being marked as fixed. (emacs-version reports "GNU Emacs 24.2.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw scroll bars) of 2012-10-06 on localhost".)
I tried twice to unarchive the bug by sending "unarchive 11304" to control <at> debbugs.gnu.org, but the system is ignoring me.

Sorry. Emacs 24.2 was released unexpectedly to fix a security issue.
It did not contain that fix (you can check in the ChangeLog).
Barring unforeseeon events, the fix will finally appear in 24.3.

(I wish Emacs releases had predictable version numbers, it would avoid
this kind of confusion.)
