When doing a cross compile from x86 to arm, the configure fails with:

checking whether fstatat (..., 0) works... configure: error: in
`/usr/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/tmp/portage/sys-apps/coreutils-8.14/work/coreutils-8.14':
configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling
