A Gnus group name is prefixed or not, depending on whether it's a primary server group or not. But there's no need to repeat that every time you say "group". They are always that way in Gnus. These functions convert from Gnus group names to non-Gnus group names, and vice versa. -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) bloggy blog http://lars.ingebrigtsen.no/ From debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Thu Oct 06 19:29:33 2011 Received: (at 9683) by debbugs.gnu.org; 6 Oct 2011 23:29:33 +0000 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=debbugs.gnu.org) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1RBxNc-0006Es-BE for submit@debbugs.gnu.org; Thu, 06 Oct 2011 19:29:33 -0400 Received: from mail-vw0-f44.google.com ([209.85.212.44]) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1RBxNZ-0006EP-1O for 9683@debbugs.gnu.org; Thu, 06 Oct 2011 19:29:30 -0400 Received: by vws5 with SMTP id 5so2756903vws.3 for <9683@debbugs.gnu.org>; Thu, 06 Oct 2011 16:29:12 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.52.91.7 with SMTP id ca7mr200799vdb.29.1317943751729; Thu, 06 Oct 2011 16:29:11 -0700 (PDT) Received: from pluto.luannocracy.com (207-172-223-249.c3-0.smr-ubr3.sbo-smr.ma.static.cable.rcn.com. I understand you see these functions are different from the others, and you don't want to be explicit on the other function as a matter of principle and consistency, but I'm just saying, when they're on the same page with another function that fails to spell it out, it's confusing to someone who is just trying to learn Gnus' internals... er, me. -- Dave Abrahams BoostPro Computing http://www.boostpro.com From unknown Thu Jun 19 12:20:23 2025 Received: (at fakecontrol) by fakecontrolmessage; To: internal_control@debbugs.gnu.org From: Debbugs Internal Request Subject: Internal Control Message-Id: bug archived.
