Subject: sending to -done address of a closed bug does not send out mail
Date: Fri, 9 Sep 2011 16:16:35 -0400
Package: debbugs.gnu.org
Severity: important

If a bug has been closed, then sending mail to the -done address does
not result in that mail being resent to the maintainer. It just gets
added to the bug log (ie the web page) but nothing else happens.

Examples: 3101, 9442

This can happen if you close a bug with -done and cc someone else on
that message.

Perhaps this is the upstream report

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=429870

Obviously we don't want it work like this. If 123 is already closed
then sending to "123-done" should act the same as sending to "123".

A workaround is to close using the control server instead.
