Interesting, because at that moment the minibuffer read

  Set font attributes of face `font-lock-comment-face' from font:
-outline-Droid sans[-]bold-normal-normal-mono-*-*-*-*-c-*-iso10646-1
(No matches)

where [-] is the cursor over a dash.
