Subject: data size segment tripled after the unicode-2 merge
Date: Thu, 04 Sep 2008 23:21:11 -0700
Before the unicode-2 merge the data segment size for emacs was about 4MB
on x86 GNU/Linux.
After the merge is more than 12MB.

Doing:
mv emacs/etc/charsets emacs/etc/charsets.save

and then just dump emacs again, makes the data segment size go back to 4MB.
