Subject: bug#8829: 24.0.50; Info-apropos-matches - command?
Date: Thu, 9 Jun 2011 08:03:09 -0700
What's the deal with `Info-apropos-matches'? Its name starts witn
`Info', not `info', and it is a command. Its doc string isn't very
helpful, it is described nowhere in any manual, and if you invoke it you
have no idea what it does (has done).

What's the point? How do you use it? Why is it a command?

It is used in `info-apropos', which is obviously useful. But what else
is it for (e.g. interactively)?

In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
 of 2011-06-06 on 3249CTO
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (4.5) --no-opt --cflags
-Ic:/build/include'
