But in XEmacs next-single-char-property-change will return nil
if no property change is found.  So I've modified the gnus-sum.el
code into:

  (if (featurep 'xemacs)
      (or (next-single-char-property-change end 'invisible)
          (point-max))
    (next-single-char-property-change end 'invisible))
