Your makefile is running the DOS/Windows sort command instead of the GNU/cygwin sort. Use a full path like /whatever/cygwin/bin/sort to make it use the right one. cygwin's bug, if a bug at all... -- Alan Curry From unknown Fri Aug 15 16:24:22 2025 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: MIME-tools 5.427 (Entity 5.427) X-Loop: help-debbugs@gnu.org From: help-debbugs@gnu.org (GNU bug Tracking System) To: Harpal Shergill Subject: bug#8511: closed (Re: bug#8511: Sort error in makefile) Message-ID: References: <87bp05gzp6.fsf@rho.meyering.net> X-Gnu-PR-Message: they-closed 8511 X-Gnu-PR-Package: coreutils Reply-To: 8511@debbugs.gnu.org Date: Sun, 17 Apr 2011 06:28:01 +0000 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="----------=_1303021681-17916-1" This is a multi-part message in MIME format... ------------=_1303021681-17916-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Your bug report #8511: Sort error in makefile which was filed against the coreutils package, has been closed.
