As the title suggests, network-interface-list returns nil on both emacs
22 and emacs 23 with X11 on OSX 10.6.7. Could someone fix this? Thanks.

This must be a very seldom used function.  It was broken for just about 
anything other than GNU/Linux and contained a memory leak.

I also tweaked network-interface-info to return sane results on BSD-like OS:es 
that has getifaddr.

This was fixed in the trunk.  Please test it,
