As a consequence (eval-after-load 'ido ...) will not be able to use any ido functions. And if it does, they will be autoloaded, causing an infinite load recursion. (Of course (eval-after-load "ido" ...) works around this...) regards, Nikolaj Schumacher From cyd@stupidchicken.com Sun Aug 31 06:57:52 2008 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.2.3-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (2007-08-08) on rzlab.ucr.edu X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-3.7 required=4.0 tests=AWL,BAYES_00 autolearn=ham version=3.2.3-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 Received: (at 836-done) by emacsbugs.donarmstrong.com; 31 Aug 2008 13:57:52 +0000 Received: from cyd.mit.edu (CYD.MIT.EDU [18.115.2.24]) by rzlab.ucr.edu (8.13.8/8.13.8/Debian-3) with ESMTP id m7VDvnVB027769 for <836-done@emacsbugs.donarmstrong.com>; Sun, 31 Aug 2008 06:57:51 -0700 Received: by cyd.mit.edu (Postfix, from userid 1000) id A8F8757E311; Sun, 31 Aug 2008 09:59:59 -0400 (EDT) To: Nikolaj Schumacher Cc: 836-done@debbugs.gnu.org Subject: Re: ido provides feature too early From: Chong Yidong Date: Sun, 31 Aug 2008 09:59:59 -0400 Message-ID: <87ej45jnds.fsf@cyd.mit.edu> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Fixed, thanks.
