Subject: [ISSUSE]: RTL Support Required for Arabic/Farsi Translations in Guix
 Weblate
Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2025 13:17:36 +0000
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
hello,

It has been observed that Guix Website interface does not properly switch to right-to-left (RTL) direction when Arabic or Farsi translations are viewed/edited. Currently:

-

The layout remains LTR (left-to-right), causing visual distortion for RTL languages.

-

Text alignment, punctuation, and UI elements (like menus) appear misaligned.

Request:

-

Add CSS direction: rtl; dynamically for RTL languages (e.g., Arabic/Farsi).

-

Audit and fix design issues (e.g., padding, icons, or dropdowns) that may break under RTL.

Steps to Reproduce:

-

Switch the interface language to Arabic/Farsi.

-

Observe LTR persistence in menus/editor.
