Sounds great, there’s even a nixpkgs overlay for it:

https://github.com/what-the-functor/nix-emacs30-macport-overlay

The only reason I’m not running this is that it doesn’t allow me to specify
which version of nixpkgs it uses underneath, but I’ll have to see if I can
make that configurable.
