The basic test runs with test-basic-os operating-system, this os has the etc-profile-d-service-type. The other tests still use run-basic-test that checks basic stuff, including /etc/profile.d sourcing, but use different os definition, without the etc-profile-d-service-type. So there needs to happen one of those two things: 1. The run-basic-test procedure has to be modified to not expect /etc/profile.d always 2. The other tests have to use the os with etc-profile-d-service-type services, ie. by concating the services from basic-test-os. > --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- > guix shell -D guix --pure -- make check-system TESTS=basic > --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8--- > > > [1] https://yhetil.org/guix/87jz7rsu49.fsf@gnu.org/ Rutherther From debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Sat Aug 09 08:21:43 2025 Received: (at 78717) by debbugs.gnu.org; 9 Aug 2025 12:21:43 +0000 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1]:40615 helo=debbugs.gnu.org) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from ) id 1ukiZy-0002Cg-LS for submit@debbugs.gnu.org; Sat, 09 Aug 2025 08:21:42 -0400 Received: from mail-pj1-x1044.google.com ([2607:f8b0:4864:20::1044]:60738) by debbugs.gnu.org with esmtps (TLS1.2:ECDHE_RSA_AES_128_GCM_SHA256:128) (Exim 4.84_2) (envelope-from <45mg.writes@gmail.com>) id 1ukiZw-0002CP-Hx for 78717@debbugs.gnu.org; Sat, 09 Aug 2025 08:21:41 -0400 Received: by mail-pj1-x1044.google.com with SMTP id 98e67ed59e1d1-31f325c1bc1so2712586a91.1 for <78717@debbugs.gnu.org>; Sat, 09 Aug 2025 05:21:40 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20230601; t=1754742094; x=1755346894; darn=debbugs.gnu.org; h=mime-version:message-id:date:references:in-reply-to:subject:cc:to :from:from:to:cc:subject:date:message-id:reply-to; bh=zpuFyOUWXTGzLhfoj8p1RNfEdMGuuP+RTLIXurIYzeU=; b=SCndSeGBZhCuPr/UhCwhyiThbWjpXtm5Xo6ZCfR7RnMFIyqwstP6S95O39amaVTEYi RM0/f/RCfujnNOrSyOO8gbFkw6bqBVxMD9lSrlsCdvQRhUYhgvHVdFauxms4kCPGJxau RWCYmvycktuRTLaiC3196F4nBOP/njyLLyLTh8B4hsGCY7w9HLUx6o+2iQY08VRurRDr kad558BwwcBjT3thn4/gN7g7awhlxNKKfUXOiPqaKqcB+KUgqKqMtCSFI2iW3xqEPtDO EZtVZCWyJVB/oD5h6HIHFnHVvuSCYommVffx3fGIY3mNuS0knltTcysN3jRFN8hhE2PA ZNoQ== X-Google-DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=1e100.net; s=20230601; t=1754742094; x=1755346894; h=mime-version:message-id:date:references:in-reply-to:subject:cc:to :from:x-gm-message-state:from:to:cc:subject:date:message-id:reply-to; bh=zpuFyOUWXTGzLhfoj8p1RNfEdMGuuP+RTLIXurIYzeU=; b=T3+YIEmX9iTACe1kIzotz49Mi1sVPOO3Dan4ImEY7Azd15nTv4chlCMJj9X1GBANSz vsVSgyGsmAclMh8751zVbKT3uvrU3OTbm9cDdAS6XWGvM1BXb3hxqFXJlZpVQ0BcN0v5 +dvFAkEHW0D73plbsws88x/kbtGSctg2dEgFcFlSyWH9uw3kRkjI1hud+8ls7FojRgnV mFes1y0ix08tWY9JnLq2xl52dho5chEc1Paft1PYfurfPnGeuNZTTYVnBlKM2qt9DpLf Yet45v3Eq+fHwfG4grWcdl4UvlqoLZByPrDGctkv9QNq7noIZmOM4MmVz0NPE9iRRsQf gb8A== X-Forwarded-Encrypted: i=1; AJvYcCU7UUWiDQ/R++69GKFmUgPmbbBB5qu0Ih7dPAvRFEQ8nWtgRfz6YMApDS+/ZeV6DmR9waZA2Q==@debbugs.gnu.org X-Gm-Message-State: AOJu0YylUF8qxoB6ltBMURWC5kYrRGjAkqhJCpm2JKpNwauk5BUkh2TG gOeTM8KLApmJsgb54bMLxj7U3toi/QbSuOyCqIrJCscG2kajs1IitulH X-Gm-Gg: ASbGncsam4v/efpraAoAGYEDKfvfW5Ag38Lb/sryzm6oIiYU7A9VljC3BAvmrORl1Pj jOL2YC90JqEqFn3/UhVgwV3FiVbm1Z2SRMhTA93AC7yCumTKlkktR0DlYGlj+4qYEmohKgRpJeE ZtZVWWiTemhxpg3rm/QsH7ToiQ9MXvM4d+h0hhYRip/2O+j+hF+X36726xDQfX/mTyof71o6+TB 5OzCD0xRiGcBLeLE6J/la3Qt7fYib/0i0PIMq0/HhU/SVdFofCwdWm7IykmwrmiheGmTpbztChu nkqimIKKT16IoA2H7gzYKE9tuxfV5lySkLR8OVTaj87GUiNinySZC9YRV+4dgP4EBoegwaWXUtx X4IuAnpRdcDkCqA== X-Google-Smtp-Source: AGHT+IFuZVnE7GJSCDdrOQZsvZTWvWM/CPhbN1B6FRnjzWQTd5yAyrsk/z7qnhCOlUSFuHnQS3zWIg== X-Received: by 2002:a17:90b:4f47:b0:31e:f351:bfec with SMTP id 98e67ed59e1d1-321838a61fdmr10907189a91.0.1754742094380; Sat, 09 Aug 2025 05:21:34 -0700 (PDT) Received: from guix1 ([103.28.247.2]) by smtp.gmail.com with ESMTPSA id 41be03b00d2f7-b428a713296sm6832115a12.50.2025.08.09.05.21.32 (version=TLS1_3 cipher=TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 bits=256/256); Sat, 09 Aug 2025 05:21:33 -0700 (PDT) From: 45mg <45mg.writes@gmail.com> To: 45mg <45mg.writes@gmail.com>, 78717@debbugs.gnu.org Subject: close (for real this time) In-Reply-To: <87sei0bt21.fsf@gmail.com> References: <877c1mu4af.fsf@gmail.com> <87sei0bt21.fsf@gmail.com> Date: Sat, 09 Aug 2025 12:21:26 +0000 Message-ID: <874iug1y9l.fsf@gmail.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain X-Spam-Score: 0.0 (/) X-Debbugs-Envelope-To: 78717 Cc: Rutherther , Maxim Cournoyer X-BeenThere: debbugs-submit@debbugs.gnu.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.18 Precedence: list List-Id: List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Errors-To: debbugs-submit-bounces@debbugs.gnu.org Sender: "Debbugs-submit" X-Spam-Score: -1.0 (-) 45mg <45mg.writes@gmail.com> writes: > Fixed by https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/912, apparently.
