Performing a 'make check V=1' reveals that coreutils 9.5 are defective:

    126 + mv k out
    127 mv: cannot stat 'out/k': Not a directory

Excerpt from gigantic tests/basic.log. (cp in coreutils 9.5 is also not working properly.)
