It occurs in post-command-hook while grabbing a substring from a string returned by tmm (or a slightly modified version of it). I notice that so far most of the crashes I have seen earlier has been related to the system. I wonder if this one is it too in some way. (Could the menu strings have been changed in some ways by the system calls?) I can't find much information. Below is the backtrace and the few variable I know how to get.
