(unknown version).


You found a bug in GNU Parted! Here's what you have to do:

Not really sure what you are trying to do here, you aren't root and you
shouldn't be running parted on the LV. Also it seems to think you used a
wildcard for the device path which also isn't something that's
supported.

So, not really a bug. Run it as root, and use the correct device path.
