This is a patch series that I already have ready for several translations
for some refcards.
This patch only contains the translation for `refcard.tex'.
I also made changes (in another patch) to the Makefile and README for
translations.
I'm not sure if I should upload the other patches in separate threads
or upload them as one here.
In GNU Emacs 31.0.50 (build 1, x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version

Does producing a PDF file from this require some special TeX setup,
like installing some fonts? If so, please describe them.

I don't see that in the patch. Did you miss that?
Also, I think this should be in NEWS.

I think a separate pat6ch for each translation is better.
Thanks for working on this.

Not much in particular, it just mostly uses
accents (´) and tildes (~), which is the same
setup as the Portuguese refcard version.
From what I saw, it doesn't require any extra
font.

No, I didn't send it as I wanted to make sure they
were for separate patches, i will send it
tomorrow.

Hello,
I have some notes about the translation.
Is there a special place to discuss translations?

In the spanish translation of the tutorial (etc/tutorials/TUTORIALS.es),
the term 'buffer' is used like that, in english. I think we should keep
coherence and use it here also.

Here you are mixing formal and informal addressing (Presione/tu primera
vez). The tutorial uses formal.

AFAIK, no, but we can discuss this on the

Thanks! Do we have anyone on this list who knows Spanish well and would
like to help us proof-read the translations?

Also "caracter" -> "car{\'a}cter", and here too:

But isn't this an indirect question? Cf. "No sé cómo hacerlo" (from Butt,
Benjamin and Moreira Rodríguez (2019) A New Reference Grammar of Modern
Spanish (6th ed), p. 354).

Doesn't sound like an indirect question to me. If it were "Emacs asks
..." or something like that, then yes.
I might be entirely wrong. I'm a native speaker but my last lesson of
Spanish Grammar was in school, several years ago.

I'm not a native speaker of Spanish, only learned it at school, but that
was much longer than several years ago.... But I think indirect
questions can be introduced by more than interrogative verbs like "ask",
cf. <https://www.rae.es/gram%C3%A1tica/sintaxis/interrogativos-y-exclamativos-iv-c%C3%B3mo-y-por-qu%C3%A9-locuciones-que-se-les-asimilan>:
"No vi cómo lo hizo." However, that page says both are possible:
"En la construcción /Ya verás cómo consigue ganar/ (con el adverbio
interrogativo cómo), se hace referencia a la manera de conseguir
algo. En cambio, en /Ya verás como consigue ganar/, la conjunción como
introduce una subordinada completiva que alude al propio hecho de la
consecución".
I have no intuition on this distinction, so leave the resolution to the
native speakers.

Of course, that was just an example.

Difference is that in this case the sentence is an affirmative
sentence.

Just a few more typos. Sorry I didn't catch them in the previous revision.
