Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
emacs -Q
M-: (setq mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult t)
Note that that value is invalid wrt the defcustom.
C-h v mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult
mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult is a variable defined in `mouse.el'.
Its value is t
Original value was 4
M-x customize-option mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult
The Customize buffer shows this:
Hide mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult: 4
State : CHANGED outside Customize. (mismatch)
Group the buffers by the major mode groups...
C-h v still shows the same thing - the value is t.
M-: mouse-buffer-menu-mode-mult ; confirms the value is t
The Customize buffer should show the value as what it is: t. Then it is
correct to show "(mismatch)". But 4 is incorrectly shown as the value.
And 4 would _not_ be a mismatch.
Also: `Hide' is placed poorly in the UI. It has the same font etc. as
the ordinary text. So it is simply read as text, and the result makes
no sense when read.
