Hello,

An update: I came up with Gash patches that fix the problem we were
seeing in <https://issues.guix.gnu.org/75658>.

Once a Gash release is tagged with these patches, we can move forward
with the ‘core-packages-team’ branch.

In the meantime, we can keep updating the branch and fixing issues.
