  (1) Make a "message" composition buffer with `M-x message-mail'.

  (2) Add an FCC header like "FCC: /tmp/ackkk"

  (3) Fill in To:, etc however you want; my buffer looked like:

  (4) Send the message with "C-c C-c"

  (5) It will prompt you "Create /tmp/ack?"; answer "y"

  (6) An error is signalled:

      gnus-output-to-mail: Symbol's value as variable is void: nnmail-pathname-coding-system
