No big deal, but
$ emacs -Q -nw -eval '(view-lossage)'
shows
ESC [ > 0 ; 2 6 6 ; 0 c ESC ] 1 1 ; r g b : 0 0 0 0
/ 0 0 0 0 / 0 0 0 0 ESC \
when run in xterm. I did not type that.

$ env|grep -i xterm
TERM=xterm
XTERM_SHELL=/bin/bash
XTERM_LOCALE=zh_TW.UTF-8
XTERM_VERSION=XTerm(266)

In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.20.1)
 of 2010-11-21 on elegiac, modified by Debian
