Hello,

The tr utility can't to convert UTF-8 non-ASCII letters to the
uppercase. Particulare cyrillic word:

$ echo зелено|tr '[:lower:]' '[:upper:]'
зелено

While english lesson translation is correctly do the same:
$ echo green|tr '[:lower:]' '[:upper:]'
GREEN
