Subject: bug#74424: Add "Last-Released" field to describe-package buffer and archive-contents file
Date: Mon, 18 Nov 2024 22:09:25 +0000
Severity: wishlist

In the `M-x describe-package` buffer, it useful to have a new field
"Last Released", to easily see how actively a package is developed
and/or maintained.

You can see that information on the GNU ELPA pages, but it's not there
in the `archive-contents` file. I'd suggest adding that on GNU/NonGNU
ELPA, and then it'd be a small order to also show it in Emacs.

For example, see:
https://elpa.gnu.org/packages/chess.html
