This is embarassing.

I apologize for this “report”.  I was following Debbugs’ [documentation][1]
to finally get started with learning the system.  Unfortunately, the
worst case scenario played out and I got exposed in the act.

At this point, I have no idea how to peacefully start interacting with
Debbugs in read-only capacity.

I recommend to use mumi instead of debbugs. Debbugs is confusing.

You cannot avoid Debbugs. ;-)  Debbugs is the name of the issue tracker
system [1].  And Mumi is one front-end.

Other front-ends are: plain emails, debbugs.el, issues.guix.gnu.org, or
BTS (debian-devscripts-bts), etc.

Mumi rocks! BTW.
