I see. Here's a pristine test. Sorry.

$ emacs -Q --eval '(setq apropos-do-all t)' --eval '(apropos "frame")'
Then put the cursor on "all-frames" and hit RET. That will give:
apropos-symbol-button-display-help: There is nothing to follow for ...
