Hmm... wasn't aware of this one.
AFAIK between Emacs, GNU ELPA, and NonGNU ELPA, I can see it used in only
two files:

    elpa/packages/elisp-benchmarks/benchmarks/dhrystone.el
    elpa/packages/mmm-mode/mmm-cmds.el

Deprecation sounds about right.
