Found Bug at offset -6 = 140 pixels
but the problem with cursor jumping to "JUMPS HERE" still doesn't
happen.

I'm running the code interactively, and I do see those "Check..."
messages (mainly in *Messages*, as they are very quickly replaced by
the finishing message).
