Subject: set-fill-column nonsense in minibuffer
Date: Tue, 21 Nov 2023 16:06:40 +0800
$ emacs -Q #29.1
in the *scratch* buffer, do
(set-fill-column 98)^U^X^E
You will see in the minibuffer this nonsense:
99 (#o143, #x63, ?c)
But the nonsense only happens the first time you do it.
