   (setq
    x-select-enable-clipboard nil
    x-select-enable-primary t
    select-active-regions nil
    mouse-drag-copy-region t)
   (global-set-key [mouse-2] 'mouse-yank-at-click)
I didn't even need to load that .el you sent and all seems OK now. Thanks!
