Subject: Underscores in Latex Style Files using L3 Programming Layer
Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2023 00:15:46 +0000
In LaTeX3's L3 Programming Layer, which is the low-level programming interface for LaTeX3,
underscores (_) are treated as normal characters. Unlike in LaTeX2e, where underscores are
used to denote subscripts in math mode. LaTeX3's L3 Programming Layer allows underscores
to be used freely in variable and function names without any special treatment.

But Emacs is treating my L3 Style variable and function with subscripts when underscores
are encountered. Latex Mode set the text within the subscript part with a lowered height,
making the L3 Style Files look extremely messed up.

Severity set to 'wishlist' from 'normal' Request was from Stefan Kangas <stefankangas <at> gmail.com> to control <at> debbugs.gnu.org. (Mon, 18 Sep 2023 22:50:02 GMT) Full text and rfc822 format available.
