crashes with

This is with an Emacs built from bzr with
revid:eliz <at> gnu.org-20100626144112-032airiym9h9hy1p

In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.12)
 of 2010-06-20 on ix
Windowing system distributor `The X.Org Foundation', version 11.0.10402000
configured using `configure  '--with-gif=no' '--without-sound' '--without-dbus' '--without-gconf''
