The following line in emacs-lisp-intro.texi is missing a closing 
parenthesis:
determine whether the buffer has been narrowed.

To fix, change the line to:

Thanks, I fixed it (on the emacs-29 branch) somewhat differently, by
unifying with the next paragraph, which is also in parentheses.
