I meant introducing something like this
(define (get-log-dir)
(string-append
(getenv "XDG_STATE_HOME") "/log"))
and use it instead of
(or (getenv "XDG_STATE_HOME")
(format #f "~a/.local/state" (getenv "HOME")))
