Eli, I'd like to push that one to Emacs 29 as well.

It should be very safe: the default value of the new option makes sure 
that aside from the (eq ruby-method-params-indent t) check all the code 
runs exactly as before.

(No, I'm not going to ask that for every next feature request.)
